Alana Pallister created a clothing brand based off of an actual character, rather than attempt what everyone else was already doing. After naming the I.AM.GIA after her favorite character Gia Carangi, from the movie Gia, the clothing brand was born. Pallister hopes to inspire women to dress and feel confident in their clothes. The brand has a "masculine" aesthetic, according to her, and uses unique patterns and designs with their pieces, which can be seen on many notable people.
